Every year, the old Crabapple tree in front of our house gets richly covered in pink blossoms, trumpeting the arrival of spring. I love seeing it so densely covered with flowers, yet it bares no fruit. After a while, a blanket of pink petals covers the ground, thickening with each blowing wind.
