About

As an artist and art historian, I am drawn to the surreal genre of artistic expression but not exclusively, and to paraphrase French philosopher Rene Descartes, I create therefore I am... In fine art, whether in paintings or drawings the technique applied uses a narrative of the line, a style of calculated precision that aims at conveying a story. Digital photography has enabled me to experience a deeper sense of mystery that lies within the wealth of nature's diversity, coupled with my innate sense of curiosity about life.

Artwork

Each of my paintings, drawings and/or photographs can be purchased in variety of products: from WALL ART (art prints, canvas prints, metal prints, wood prints and acrylic prints, wall tapestries), HOME DECOR (throw pillows, coffee mugs, shower curtains, duvet covers), STATIONARY (greeting cards, notebooks), LIFESTYLE (yoga mats, blankets, family T-shirts, hoodies, and baby overalls) to ELECTRONICS (battery chargers, phone covers). Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Yvonne Wright I am a multimedia artist with a Master of Art degree in art history, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and drawing. I have had a rewarding career in fine art, encompassing international awards and works in public and private collections. Currently, I own and operate a small art gallery/artist's studio in Jim Thorpe, PA dedicated primarily to showcasing my works. My art practice explores a variety of mediums, privileging acrylics on canvas or wood, which springs from my earlier interest in egg tempera. I am also proficient in printmaking techniques like lithography, etching and woodcut, but recent equipment access restrictions limited my output. My language of visualization often draws on the legacy of Surrealism where fantasy and pastiche play an integral part, but not exclusively.
