Description
The half-opened window, and Louis 16th chair casually placed near the secret door signify a hasty departure. There is stillness in the air, an ominous vacancy before the storm. A new era had begun and the Old World abruptly ended. Work inspired by my visit to the Versailles and its tumultuous history.
