Description
I always have a lot of fun attending annual antique & classic car shows. They are truly a feast for the eyes, for anyone who likes old cars. My personal favourites are always the-early-20th-century models because of their beautiful lines and jewel-like craftsmanship, therefore, I capture them relentlessly every time I get a chance.

The old cars had such massive and distinctive hood ornaments, Yvonne. My Dad owned a 1951 Packard Convertible that had the famous Packard Swan ornament from the time I was a year old up until it was destroyed by a massive forest fire in June of 2011. They don't build 'em like they used to seems to fit this bygone era like a glove!.................FAV / LIKE
Yvonne Wright replied:
What a shame your dad's beautiful Classic perished in the fire. They are true works of art and witnesses to the craftsmanship we don't see these days. Also, most cars became rather homoginized and simplfied to resemble all the others. The proud heritage of American car industry is worth preserving in art at least. They are desapearing.
