Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

One of my most revered paintings in Western art became a challenging commission, when I was asked to copy it by one of Toronto's art collectors and a great admirer of Vermeer.
Since the Renaissance, many artists have studied the works and techniques of their predecessors. It was believed then, as it is often argued today, that mastering the arcana of one's craft can be best achieved when analyzing, comparing, scrutinizing and most importantly copying exceptional works of art; therefore getting up close and intimate with their secrets.
Lost to the public for decades after the death of the artist, the "Girl with a Pearl Earring" resurfaced on the market again when genealogist and art collector Arnoldus Andries des Tombe purchased the work at an auction in 1881. He paid very little, and the painting was in poor condition. Des Tombe had no heirs, therefore in 1902, he donated it along with the rest of his collection to the Mauritshuis Museum in Hague, where the painting remai...
I am a multimedia artist with a Master of Art degree in art history, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and drawing. I have had a rewarding career in fine art, encompassing international awards and works in public and private collections. Currently, I own and operate a small art gallery/artist's studio in Jim Thorpe, PA dedicated primarily to showcasing my works. My art practice explores a variety of mediums, privileging acrylics on canvas or wood, which springs from my earlier interest in egg tempera. I am also proficient in printmaking techniques, but equipment access restrictions limited my output. Maggie Terlecki
Wow, Yvonne... I cannot imagine how difficult it was to do this. When you paint your own work, you have no restrictions of anything and it allows your hand to be so free but to try and replicate someone else's work, you are confined by what they did... which looks amazing by the way! Just incredible! :-) Maggie
Yvonne Wright replied:
Thank you very much Maggie! It took me a few weeks to complete, working slowly layer by layer. I studied the old masters' techniques to some extend and copied a few works over the years. But this one was most ambitious to date : ) Thank you for you kind words.
Maya Bukhina
Marvelous work !

Erik Paul

There is now a tv series here where a team of experts try to recreate famous works of Art like this one. At the end of each episode they put their result beside the real one to be judged. They go very far and even here they tried to create the cracks on the surface...and they succeeded ! (Egg yoke mixture). They did not copy the painting but painted a real girl that posed. The girl was Turkish as they found out. The pearl wasn't even a pearl...anyway...great tv ! Just wanted to share with you Master Yvonne 🍀
Yvonne Wright replied:
Thank you Michel for letting me know about the TV series (currently in Netherlands?). It is an interesting concept to try to re-create a famous work of art from scratch sort-of-speak, by staging up the model. What is the title of the series, maybe I can trace it down on YouTube? However, when it comes to finding out details regarding the model, who can tell 400 years later. Turkish-like turbans were very popular in Europe, going back to Van Eyck. Rembrandt especially loved the richness of Turkish/Oriental textiles. I think the earring was made of glass, possibly Venetian.
